JOIN US: Assistant Production Manager
We’re Hiring –
1. Assistant Production Manager at Èkì Kéré
Join the Éki Kéré team to support the production of our collections from cutting to final assembly. You will work closely with the Production Manager to ensure efficient workflow and accurate conversion of patterns into finished garments.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan daily cutting and sewing schedules, set production targets, and track progress against the plan
- Read pattern packs and prepare lay plans and markers, ensuring accuracy while minimising fabric waste
- Cut patterns and garments according to approved specifications and design requirements
- Maintain quality by checking measurements, stitching, and finishing, and resolving issues quickly
- Coordinate with tailors, lead daily briefings, and prepare end-of-day production reports
- Apply fit comments and approve samples before bulk production
- Monitor trims and materials, and keep production racks, tools, and files organised
Who We’re Looking For:
- 2–4 years of experience working on a fashion production floor
- Strong hands-on knowledge of pattern cutting
- Comfortable with quick calculations and production measurements
- Clear communication and the ability to adapt to changing production needs
