EMÁNA — Chapter 1

Emána, meaning rebirth, marks the beginning of a new chapter for Éki Kéré.

For some time, we have been questioning our reliance on traditional batik processes and searching for alternatives that align more closely with our evolving commitment to sustainability, material responsibility, and innovation.

Emána represents a step forward in that journey.

Rather than using batik, this collection introduces patchwork details created from reclaimed fabric remnants generated within our own production process. These patches preserve the irregularity, texture, and imperfect beauty that have long drawn us to batik, while offering a new language through which to express them.

The result is a collection that embraces inconsistency as a form of beauty—where every mark, patch, and surface tells a story of transformation rather than waste.

Rooted in heritage yet shaped by renewal, Emána reflects our belief that tradition should not remain static. It should evolve, adapt, and find new forms through which to live.

This is more than a collection.

It is the beginning of a rebirth.
