For the second iteration of Memory Jean, Memory Jean V2 encouraged our community to donate their pre-loved denim, giving old pieces a chance to become something new.

The donated denim was collected, cut, and reworked into new pieces through patching and fabric manipulation. Rather than hiding the signs of wear, we kept the different washes, textures, fades, and marks of each pair visible.

The installation brought together these donated pieces to show the process behind their transformation.

Memory Jean V2 is about extending the life of clothing while carrying a part of its history forward.
